For the Legal analyst program and other non-legal professional positions, we welcome people from a variety of academic and professional backgrounds. Ideally, you should be interested in legal issues and the interaction of finance and the law, but a background in law and/or finance is not a prerequisite. For our experienced legal hires, we generally do not hire directly from law schools, but hire lawyers who have spent at least a few years in private practice. You should be a quick learner, inquisitive and a keenly critical thinker.

Management Controls

For our Intern and New Analyst classes, we seek individuals who have demonstrated scholastic achievement, commitment to excellence and possess strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills. Starting your professional career with MCD will give you a unique opportunity to rapidly gain a broad spectrum of experience and insight into the financial industry, its products and operations. You will also be in a position to interact with and learn from some of the most respected leaders in the industry.

From experienced hire candidates, we expect in-depth skills in any combination of internal audit, public accounting, financial analysis, information technology, management consulting, financial or technology risk management, law and regulatory matters, or practical experience and subject matter expertise in financial products.
