I was a campus recruit from my university in Bangalore, and although I had applied with campus placement to interview with other firms, Goldman was always first on my priority list. When I discovered that I had been recruited by Goldman Sachs, I immediately decided that this was the choice for me. After all, it isn’t every day that this kind of opportunity comes your way!

I was impressed with the degree of professionalism and talent I found here. In fact, for the first few weeks I found it a bit intimidating. However, I also quickly learned that Goldman Sachs is a pro-learning environment and the firm truly makes an effort to ensure that the people they hire are given every opportunity to grow and succeed, irrespective of background or experience. Very early on in my time with the firm, I realised that Goldman doesn’t spare any effort to give their people the best facilities, technology and tools to help them work better and excel in their roles.
