As an associate I am responsible for the day-to-day execution and coordination of large parts of client projects, which includes a lot of client interaction.

I am currently working on several projects, including the buy side of a bank, a pre-IPO mandate as well as continuous coverage of a large German client. The most interesting aspect is that these three assignments are all different in terms of client objectives. In addition, I have the possibility of working with different people at the client companies and within Goldman Sachs, requiring a certain level of flexibility and a varying skill set.

Meeting and working together with senior decision takers at the client companies is one of the most rewarding aspects of my job. The most challenging part of my job is to manage all the projects and related tasks at one time. And, of course, I am proud of being a member of a team and of a firm that executes the most important and largest strategic transactions in the market.
