I joined Goldman Sachs in New York with PWM Divisional Compliance as an intern. I was in my last semester pursuing an MBA in Operations Management. A classmate and friend was already interning with the same division at Goldman Sachs and heard of an internship position he thought I would be interested in, and I was! When I interviewed with Goldman Sachs for the internship position, I was interning with the Department of Corrections, NY and was not actively interviewing with firms in the industry.

During my first few days with Goldman Sachs I was completely overwhelmed and in awe; overwhelmed because the finance industry was completely new to me and in awe of the people around me, especially of their professionalism and commitment.
