My Path
I came to Goldman Sachs through campus recruiting. It was the only firm I applied to for a job after graduation. If I hadn’t received an offer at Goldman Sachs at the time I did, I would have gone on to law school.
My first impression of the firm was that individuals of truly outstanding calibre worked together seamlessly in a team. The culture encouraged real global coordination, that is, close interaction with counterparts in other geographic regions.
My first job here was in the Investment Banking division. At the end of my second year in IBD, I applied to work in the Investment Research division, as part of the firm’s mobility program for financial analysts. I was offered a position in the Media Research team, and from there, I moved across to Equities to become a salesperson, which is my current role.
