Joon Ho

Day to day, our team does due diligence on companies and checks industry sources for the potential impact on share prices so as to make recommendations on stocks. I am currently involved in expanding our coverage. This is always an exciting process for me personally.

The part of my job that interests me most is the process of arriving at in-depth research – research that ultimately ends up being very valuable to our clients. I feel privileged to work with a group of such talented people at Goldman Sachs.

I think the most challenging part of our job is differentiating our research products from those of our peers by approaching it from a unique angle. Finding jewels requires an extensive depth of research and special insights on the industry, so that we can make our recommendations with conviction.

The most rewarding part of my job is getting access to the top level of management of the companies we cover. I also enjoy travelling to other regions to visit companies and meet with clients.
