Our day-to-day tasks can vary drastically depending on the market action, but can include modelling, writing company and industry pieces, and communicating our ideas to our internal sales force as well as our external clients. I am currently collaborating on a report with one of the other teams within our Technology business unit. The report will be looking at two competing technologies within our sector, which should have interesting long-term implications for several of our stocks under coverage.

The most challenging part my job is constantly multitasking, with the number of tasks slowly increasing over time. Our stock  coverage within the department is also increasing, which can be challenging at times.

The most rewarding part of my job is to have worked on a differentiated piece of analysis that ultimately led us to the right conclusion about a stock.[see below] Our main responsibility is helping our clients make money, and it’s always rewarding when we succeed.
