I face new challenges every day, whether that is a new product, new client, the complex negotiation of legal terms or even managing the workload of the team. The diversity of my day is what makes it interesting.

In a time when we are faced with particularly high volumes, increasingly complex trades and regulatory targets, my day-to-day work is a balancing act. As a manager, it is important that I support my team with respect to training and people development but to also keep focus on the high risk areas as well as working toward a long term goal. It’s challenging – but it’s also what makes my job very enjoyable.

I really enjoy working with my team members and seeing them grow. Some of the analysts who joined last year are already involved with legal negotiations with our trading desk and the client. The team has come a long way in the past year in terms of risk management, client relationship building and process efficiencies. We still have a lot of work to do, but I am proud of the extremely hard-working team I work with.
