After graduating with a Biology degree, I worked for a few years in the legal field, supporting litigation regarding patent and construction law. When I transitioned to the financial industry, I initially started at Goldman Sachs as a contingent worker. Although I had limited responsibilities, I took them seriously and took advantage of opportunities when they presented themselves. Within about a year, I had established myself as reliable and conscientious and, after several interviews within the Operational Risk department, was offered a full-time position.
I spent the first few days at Goldman Sachs meeting many people throughout the firm. I noticed that the people I met had a very strong conviction about what they do and that they carried themselves with modesty and integrity. And I continue to meet people here with these qualities.
