The Foundation makes only a small number of large investments each year, providing significant resources for projects and organizations that demonstrate exceptional promise, strong leadership, distinguished records of accomplishment and the clear capacity to expend large grants wisely. Funding priorities are determined by a periodic assessment of the needs and opportunities in the field of education. Current priorities are:

• Promoting Leadership, Entrepreneurship and Business Education
• Advancing Academic Achievement

In addition to providing financial capital, we enhance our grant making through the engagement of Goldman Sachs professionals who lend their skills and intellectual capital to the organizations we support.
